i spotted a patch of flowers on the sidewalk while driving and stopped to shoot a few.
... and then i heard a voice from a balcony somewhere...
she: 'can i help you?'
me: 'in what way?'
she: 'have you lost something i can help you find?'
(from her balcony??)
me, politely: 'no, thank you.'
after a bit, same voice....
she: 'are you from municipal services?'
me, visibly annoyed and starting to prepare for, perhaps, a terse exchange: 'no.'
i guess my tone was enough to get her to stop.
