To continue with HORRIBLE cover songs, following yesterday's tragic Scott Weiland attempt at Depeche Mode and in line since Prince will perform at House Of Blues in Hollywood tonight, here is one of the worst remakes I have heard. What makes this even more horrifying, is that you know MONEY & TIME were dumped into this mess. The voices step all over each other, the choice to slow the tempo makes it an acid trip to a funeral (no fun in this funeral) and the questionable bass line. "ENJOY"

Prince - Kiss (A Cappella rehearsal)

Prince was fun this wknd.... a bit more mellower than previous performances but still fun. The plan is to attend the final night of his residency, Sunday the 29th. There are NO MORE $25 seats. If you wish to join, seats are $71 as these are $55 tickets and have fees from ticketbastige applied.

Solo begins @ 3:30. Prince had performed this on his own before. It is obvious, the rest of the band had no clue what he was about to do here. The version on The Beatles' White Album, has Eric Clapton on lead guitar.

No More Prince - YouTube Copyright School

No more Prince video. I believe the fact that the number of views was so fantastic that hours after Youtube sent me a revenue sharing email for it, they followed with a removal notification via NPG Records (Prince New Power Generation). I am glad many folks were able to catch a glimpse the amazing performance while it was online.


A few years ago, NPG Records went after anyone who posted a video on youtube of him performing Radiohead's Creep at Coachella. Radiohead was upset that Prince had the videos removed since the true holder of the song copyright is Radiohead... in the end, Radiohead won and the videos were replaced ;)

This is the first song, nearly 25 minutes, Prince performed Thursday night. I shot this with my droid phone. Btw, Tambourines were sold last night for $80! Tickets, however, were only $25.
