Last night was amazing! It was my first time spinning since last year and an amazing welcome back to it! The energy during my set was amazing! People were literally screaming during certain songs. Thank you to everyone! This restores my faith in my abilities. Due to my schedule and wanting more time for my other endeavors, it is time to end this event at KPK and focus on such future activities as hosting a new late night SPEAK EASY coming soon at a secret Hollywood location.
If you are interested to help with promotions, or you are an entertainer, circus freak, clown, juggler, firebreather, etc. drop me a line. Even if you know someone else who may fit the bill, please fwd to them
I have had a great time these last several months and look forward to the evolution of these parties and adventures.

In a continuation of its support of horror filmmakers, Screamfest LA's throwing a mixer this Thursday, February 11, in Hollywood, CA, at Kung Pao Kitty (6445 Hollywood Blvd. at Wilcox) starting at 7:30 pm until close. Happy hour prices will be in effect until 9:30 pm with the Kitty staff serving up some special horrific concoctions specific to the event (among them 4 dollar Brain Hemorrhages, Blood Clots, and Bloody Marys) and collecting donated apparel for victims of the Haiti quake.
Wear your Screamfest t-shirt to the mixer and receive a complimentary glass of wine.
Mixer details can be found at www.screamfestla.com/mixer.php, and there's no cover so come down and network with fellow genre filmmakers and horror fans.

Nitzer Ebb helped pave the way for modern dance music. Their aggressive beats and chants have provided for quite an aerobic workout in the darkest of clubs to the radio mainstreams of the late 80s & 90s.
Their Industrial Complex tour, ignites this evening at the Key Club in Hollywood.

Eastern Weekend Events
I arrived at PHL airport (Philadelphia) in the 6am hour and within moments of stepping off the plane, I purchased and devoured a soft pretzel!Friday night, I am spinning a set with Chas & Phranque at Crash N Burn in Philadelphia. This will be a fun time!
Saturday, there will be folks joining me (you can too) on the journey to Albany, NY, where I will spin from 12am-4am at Original Sin. You can hop a ride with us and celebrate Saturday-O-Ween!

I was reading email earlier and a sponsored link
It lead to this article on wired about Robin Guthrie, the founding member of the influential band, Cocteau Twins.
Last month, his new album, Carousel was released and you can grab it directly from his site. http://www.robinguthrie.com The article is a good read about how the times have changed and includes his thoughts on social networking.
As autumn weaves its way into reality here in Hollywood with its grey skies and cool breezes, it reminds me of 20 years earlier, listening to Cocteau Twins and other 4ad/ Beggars Banquet label artists while either on a long train ride or driving my jeep through the blankets of lightly moistened yellow, brown-red leaves throughout PA, NJ & NY. I can even smell the scent of rain and the dust of the trees in the air!
Now I am even more excited to be heading to the east coast in time for Halloween!
