“I don’t have whores or painted women in my house.”

Meet Aunt Martha, owner of the sketchy King Edward Hotel in downtown L.A. Martha is a religious weirdo that loves funerals because the soul can now be separated from its disgusting, sinful flesh. Of particular concern to Aunt Martha is woman abandoning their innocence to become lecherous sluts, a road that she believes all women will eventually travel. So what did Aunt Martha do to prevent this from happening to her own daughter? Well, she turned her into a boy, of course. And so what does your little girl you turned into a boy grow up to be?

A man that sleeps with water filled blowup dolls, and gets off by injecting his own blood into their vaginas with a needle, of course.

Meet Cheryl, a runaway from Ohio that ends up rooming at her aunt’s hotel after her friend tosses her out of their apartment for peeping on her and her boyfriend having sex. This is where the story actually starts, and the rest is filled with bizarre people, behaviors (like mentioned above), and a splash of murder at the seedy King Edward Hotel.

Not a fantastic film, but definitely good campy fun. It got an extra ½ star for the peculiar doll/needle/blood scene, definitely one of the strangest scenes I’ve witnessed in a film.
